Piada Trophy

22/23/24 of July in Cervia Italy.

Again Italy is scoring points on "Serious sailing, serious Fun". A great new
sailing event took place in Cervia, 100 km south from Venice.
Many special new Ideas and great sailing.
On Friday we started at 2 p.m. with the first race, light winds and great
sailing. In the evening, was organized a Go-kart  race and after a great
dinner. Myself after sailing had a small problem and had to go to hospital,
they found out I had a cyst infection and the next day I had to cut it away,
so no more sailing for me and Nadia.
The next day the wind was blowing over land to strong and no racing. Still
32c degrees and lovely weather. In the evening was a dinner again with a
serious Bingo, lots of laughing and great fun. Nice to see how Snipe friends
can enjoy their time together.
The next day, the start was at 11.30 a.m. and they managed to do 3 races
before 15 p.m. so a total of 5 races.
After the prize giving was a Piada Clinic, how to make the typical original
Piada.

Fabio and Daniela (I call them Rocketa´s) won the race in front of Mighel
and Anna from Portugal sailing under Germany and  Paolo& Antonio  got 3rd.

My compliments to Alberto Perdisa and his club for organizing a great event,
not to forget to mention the free costs of hotel and entry fee for
foreigners.
Also thanks to Pietro, Sergio and Enrico Michel, for their great help.
