Ottimo secondo posto (a pari merito col primo) di Enrico Solerio e Sergio Simonetti.

A breve un resoconto di Enrico sulla sua trasferta alle Bahamas.

Ah, Nassau.

Crystal clear waters lapping against the shore, the northeast tradewinds blowing, the Kalik cold and refreshing, the social calendar packed, the lunch breaks over 2 hours by the poolside, and 18 Snipes having an absolute fantastic week.

The Royal Nassau Sailing Club and sponsor Tag Heuer host the third and final leg of the Snipe Class North American Winter Circuit. With boats from Norway, Sweden, Finland, Italy, the US, and the Bahamas, this is truly an international regatta that reminds everybody of one of our Class’ greatest assets - an international scope that provides opportunities to make friends from around the world.

Celebrating their first ever visit to the Bahamas, teammates Brian Bissell and Dave Hughes won the Bacardi Cup on a tie-breaker with Enrique Solero and Sergio. In fact, the rumor in the parking lot was that Brian was highly motivated to win the last race of the 3 race Bacardi Cup since his girlfriend was arriving later that afternoon.

With a long lunch break at the conclusion of the Bacardi Cup, the sailors regrouped and began preparing for the 5 race Gamblin Memorial Series that concludes on Saturday.

Snipe sailing in the Bahamas - if you never do it, how much will you eventually regret it?

This is Serious Fun, with some Serious Sailing sprinkled in.
