Mondiali Snipe 2005 - Gamagori - Giappone

Data pubblicazione: Gio, 28 Luglio 2005

Abbiamo raccolto solo queste poche informazioni sul sito dell'isaf http://sailing.org a parte il telegramma che ci ha mandato Daniela Rochelli.

"After two days of postponement due to Typhoon Banyun, races began today in the Snipe World Championship in Gamagori, Japan.

Three races were sailed in eight to twelve knots of breeze and moderately choppy waters.

George and Stacy SZABO (USA) made the perfect start to the Championship by winning the first race on the last beat. Alexandre and Roberto PARADEDA (BRA) won a very tight race two, whilst Ernesto RODRIGUEZ and Leandro SPINA (USA) took the final bullet of the day.

Augie DIAZ and Pam KELLY (USA) lead the 51 strong fleet after a consistent first day. Nobody else could manage three single digits scores and their 4,4,8 finishes on day one look set to stand them in good stead for the races ahead."
